"U Will Know" by Black Men United
Wednesday, July 20, 2005

The leading cause of death among black males between the ages of 15 and 24 is “homicide”!

The week of July 23rd 1994 forty-two Black Men United performed the song “U will know” dedicating its royalties to charity and its message to PEACE.

“U Will Know”
Black Men United

When I was a young boy
I had visions of fame
And they were wild and they were free
They were blessed with my name
Then I grew older
And I saw what's to see
That the world is full of pain
And my pain let me
And then I got stronger
And tired of the pain
That's when I picked up the pieces
And I regained my name
And I fought hard ya'll
To call out my place
And right now you could ask me
And it all seems in place

Bridge:
Your dreams ain't easy
Just stick by your plan
To go from boys to men
You must act like a man
It gets hard ya'll
Just grab what you know
Said I'm tall and don't you fall
U will know

Chorus:
U will know
U will know
U will know
U will know

And I know you're crying
'Cause it's all in this pain
And the things you want
You can have
Just coming in the way
But life ain't over
Just grab the wind and make amends
And the flight will take you far
